Cookie Policy

Last updated: 24 October 2026

This policy explains how our website uses cookies and similar technologies, why we use them, and how you can control them. Please read it alongside our Privacy Policy.

Cookies and pixels

Cookies are small files that a website places on your device (such as a computer, tablet or phone) through your web browser. They allow information gathered on one page to be remembered and used on another. Some similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, work in much the same way, so we refer to all of them as "cookies" in this policy.

A pixel is a small piece of code on a web page that works alongside cookies. It records actions such as viewing a page or making a booking, and sends that information to the company that provides it.

How we use cookies

We group the cookies on our website into three categories:

  • Essential cookies keep the site secure and working, and let you book sessions and pay. They are always on and do not need your consent

  • Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. We only set these if you accept them

  • Marketing cookies help us measure and personalise our advertising on Facebook and Instagram. We only set these if you accept them.

You can choose which non-essential cookies to allow and change your mind at any time (see “How can I manage my cookies?” below).

What cookies do we use?

The cookies we use are run by third-party providers who may change them from time to time so this information is reviewed and updated regularly. You can read about data sharing and international data transfer in our Privacy Policy.

Essential cookies

Our website is built and hosted on Squarespace using first-party cookies. Squarespace sets essential cookies so that our site runs securely, protects you against cross-site security attacks and loads its basic features correctly. We use Acuity Scheduling, which is part of Squarespace, to manage session bookings – this uses third-party cookies. Acuity sets cookies that are needed to complete a booking: to keep your checkout secure, to show appointment times in your own time zone, and to reduce spam.

You can read more about these necessary and required cookies in Squarespace’s Privacy Center and in their Cookie Policy.

Payments on our website are processed by Stripe – this uses third-party cookies. When a Stripe payment form loads, Stripe sets cookies that help it detect and prevent fraud and process your payment securely. We do not control these cookies, and Stripe uses them under its own Cookies Policy.

  • __stripe_mid: Recognises your device across visits to help detect fraud. Lasts 1 year.

  • __stripe_sid: Identifies your browsing session to help detect fraud. Lasts 30 minutes.

Analytics cookies (only with your consent)

If you accept analytics cookies, Squarespace uses the cookies below to produce statistics for us, such as where visitors come from, how many unique visitors we have, and how many people leave a booking or checkout part-way through. If you decline, these cookies are not set.

You can read more about the specific analytics cookies used in Squarespace’s Privacy Center and in their Cookie Policy.

Marketing cookies (only with your consent)

If you accept marketing cookies, we use the Meta Pixel to measure how effective our Facebook and Instagram advertising is, to show our ads to people who have visited our website, and to build groups of people with similar interests to reach with our ads. The pixel records actions you take on our website, such as viewing a page or booking a session, and sends this information to Meta. If you are logged in to Facebook or Instagram in the same browser, Meta may link this activity to your account and may use its own cookies as described in Meta's Cookies Policy. Meta handles this information under its own Privacy Policy. If you do not accept marketing cookies, the Meta Pixel does not run and these cookies are not set.

  • _fbp: Identifies your browser so Meta can measure and attribute advertising. Lasts 90 days.

  • _fbc: Records that you arrived from a click on a Facebook or Instagram ad. Lasts 90 days.

How can I manage my cookies?

You can manage your cookie preferences at any time using the cookie control button at the bottom of our website pages. You can accept or reject analytics and marketing cookies separately, and you can withdraw your consent.

You can also set your browser to block or delete cookies. Please note that if you block essential cookies, parts of our website, including booking and payment, may stop working.

You can also review and change how Facebook and Instagram use your information for ads in your account settings on those platforms.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if we change the cookies we use or the providers we work with. The date above shows when it was last updated.
