Terms and Conditions
Terms and conditions for booking a Session online
Effective from 15 October 2026
Please read these Terms before making a Booking. They explain how Bookings work, what happens if plans change, and the rules that help us run Sessions safely and fairly. The Terms applying to your Booking are those made available when we confirm it, unless a change is required by law or agreed with you.
1. Who we are and definitions
Naturenasium Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17510382. Our registered office is 167-169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London W1W 5PF. Naturenasium is our trading name. You can contact us at info [at] naturenasium.com.
In these Terms:
“Booker” means the person who makes a Booking or buys a Gift Certificate;
“Attendee” means anyone taking part in a Session, including the Booker if they attend;
“Booking” means a reservation for one or more places at a Session, made through our website or a third-party booking platform;
“Booking Confirmation” means the email confirming the date, time, Venue and price of the Session;
“Session” means an activity run by us, indoors, outdoors or both, at the Venue stated in the Booking Confirmation;
“Gift Certificate” means a voucher bought from us that can be used towards a Booking;
“We”, “us” and “our” mean Naturenasium Ltd; and
“You” and “your” mean the Booker and, where relevant, an Attendee.
If you make a Booking for other adults, you must provide them with these Terms and all relevant Session information before they attend. Each Attendee must comply with the safety and conduct requirements in these Terms as a condition of taking part.
2. Bookings and payment
Bookings are subject to availability and our acceptance. A binding contract is formed when we send the Booking Confirmation, not when you submit the Booking or payment details.
The price, any mandatory booking charge and payment arrangements will be shown before you pay. Payment is due in full when you book. Prices may change, but changes will not affect a confirmed Booking.
Payments may be processed by a third-party payment provider under its own terms and privacy information. Your Booking Confirmation is evidence of your Booking. We may also ask for the Booker’s name, Booking reference or other reasonable proof of identity before admitting an Attendee.
You must give us complete and accurate Booking information and tell us promptly if it changes. We may cancel a Booking and refund the amount paid if there is an obvious pricing or availability error and we cannot reasonably fulfil it at the stated price.
3. Your cancellations and transfers
Sessions are leisure activities supplied for a specific date or period, so the usual 14-day statutory cancellation right for online purchases does not apply. The cancellation policy below applies instead.
If you cancel at least 48 hours before the Session starts, you may choose a full refund or a transfer to another available Session.
If you cancel less than 48 hours before the Session starts, no refund is available, but you may transfer once to another available Session.
Any transferred Session must take place within three months of the original Session date.
If you do not attend and have not contacted us within the periods above, no refund or transfer will be provided.
If you are late for a Session no refund will be provided.
To cancel or transfer, email info [at] naturenasium.com and include the Booker’s name and Booking reference. If you booked through a third-party platform, any separately disclosed platform fee will be treated in accordance with that platform’s applicable refund arrangements.
These voluntary cancellation rights do not affect any statutory remedy you may have where we have breached the contract or failed to provide the service with reasonable care and skill.
4. Changes or cancellations by us
We may make reasonable changes to a Session, including changing the Session Leader, individual activities, materials or the location within the advertised Venue. Plants, materials and activities may vary because of availability, season, weather or other natural conditions, but we will aim to provide a Session materially consistent with its advertised description. Take-home of Session equipment and materials, such as plants, may vary by activity and Session and will be determined by Naturenasium.
If we make a material change to the date, start time, overall nature of the Session or Venue, we will tell you as soon as reasonably possible and offer you a transfer or a refund of the amount paid for the affected Booking.
We may adapt, postpone or cancel a Session where weather, site conditions, illness, insufficient availability or another circumstance makes it unsafe, impracticable or unreasonable to proceed. If we cancel, you may choose either a transfer or a full refund of the amount paid for the affected Booking.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for separate costs you incur, such as travel or accommodation. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
5. Gift Certificates and promotions
Gift Certificates are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase unless a different period is stated when purchased. They may be used only for eligible Naturenasium Bookings, have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash. We may refuse a Gift Certificate that we reasonably believe has been altered, duplicated or obtained fraudulently.
The purchaser may cancel an unused Gift Certificate within 14 days of purchase by emailing info [at] naturenasium.com. We will refund the purchase price to the original payment method. After that period, Gift Certificates are non-refundable except where required by law.
The Gift Certificate must be valid when the Booking is made. If the value exceeds the Booking price, any unused balance will remain available until the original expiry date. If the Booking price is higher, the balance must be paid using an accepted payment method.
If we cancel a Session booked using a Gift Certificate, we will restore the relevant value to the Gift Certificate and extend its validity where reasonably necessary to allow rebooking. Alternatively, the original purchaser may request a refund of that value. If you cancel or transfer, section 3 applies.
We may change or withdraw a promotion at any time, but this will not affect a discount already applied to a confirmed Booking.
6. Age and access
Sessions are for people aged 18 or over unless the Session description expressly states otherwise. The Booker must check that each Attendee meets the stated age requirement. We may ask for reasonable proof of age.
Please tell us at the time of Booking, or as soon as possible afterwards, about any access requirement or reasonable adjustment you may need. We will discuss reasonable steps to support your participation. If we cannot make a necessary adjustment and there is no workable alternative, you may cancel for a full refund.
Assistance dogs are welcome. Other animals are not permitted. An assistance dog must be supervised and under control, and the handler must clean up after it. We may refuse entry to or require removal of a dog that is aggressive, dangerous or materially disruptive, but we will consider reasonable adjustments first. The handler is responsible for loss or damage caused by a failure to keep the dog under reasonable control.
7. Safety, health information and clothing
Sessions may involve plants, soil, compost, gardening or craft materials, tools, outdoor conditions, uneven or slippery surfaces, weather, heat, sunlight, pollen and other natural or shared environments. We will take reasonable care to provide the Session safely and will explain relevant safety requirements.
You must:
consider whether the advertised activities are suitable for you and contact us before booking if you are unsure;
follow the Session Leader’s reasonable safety instructions and use equipment only as directed;
wear clothing and closed, secure footwear suitable for the weather, Venue and activities; and
promptly tell the Session Leader about a hazard, accident or change that may affect safe participation.
You may choose to tell us about an allergy, injury, health condition or access need that may affect participation. We can take account only of information we know. We will take reasonable steps in response, but cannot guarantee that a Session or Venue will be free from particular plants, pollen, soil, foods, materials or other allergens. Please contact us before booking if you have a serious allergy or concern.
We are not a medical or therapy provider. Sessions do not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Seek advice from an appropriate medical professional if you are unsure whether participation is suitable for you.
8. Conduct, refusal of entry and removal
We want Sessions to be safe, welcoming and enjoyable. We may refuse entry or require an Attendee to leave where, in our reasonable opinion, this is necessary because the Attendee:
acts dangerously, unlawfully or recklessly, or creates a material risk to any person or property;
harasses, discriminates against, bullies, threatens or abuses another person, or engages in unwanted physical contact or sexual attention;
uses sexual language or imagery;
is materially affected by alcohol or illegal drugs;
consumes alcohol or illegal drugs or smokes, vapes or gambles anywhere within the Session Venue;
makes an unauthorised recording or photograph of another person;
damages or misuses the Venue, equipment, plants or materials;
refuses to follow a reasonable safety instruction; or
materially disrupts the Session or the participation of others.
We will act proportionately and, where appropriate, give the Attendee an opportunity to correct the behaviour. No refund will be due where refusal or removal results from a material breach of these requirements.
An Attendee is responsible for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage caused by their deliberate or negligent conduct, including reasonable repair or replacement costs.
9. Photography and recordings
Attendees may take photographs or recordings for personal, non-commercial use only, provided they do not photograph or record the Session Leader or another Attendee without that person’s prior permission and do not disrupt the Session. Commercial use requires our written consent.
We may take photographs or recordings at some Sessions. We will tell you when this is happening. Where consent is our lawful basis, we will obtain separate, optional consent before using an identifiable photograph or recording of you. You do not have to consent in order to attend. Details of the intended uses and how to withdraw consent will be provided with the consent request and in our Privacy Policy.
10. Personal data
We use personal data to administer Bookings, deliver Sessions, communicate relevant information and manage safety and access requirements. Health and access information may be sensitive personal data and will be used only for the purposes explained in our Privacy Policy.
Our Privacy Policy explains the lawful bases we rely on, how long information is kept, who it may be shared with and your rights. If you book through a third-party platform, that platform will also process information under its own privacy policy.
If you give us personal information about someone else, such as another Attendee, you must make sure they know you are providing it and direct them to our Privacy Policy.
11. Intellectual property
Session content and materials provided by us remain our intellectual property. You may use them for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not copy, publish, sell, distribute or commercially exploit them without our prior written permission.
12. Our responsibility to you
We will provide the Session with reasonable care and skill. If we breach these Terms or fail to use reasonable care and skill, we are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it is obvious that it will happen or both parties knew it might happen when the contract was formed. We are not responsible for:
loss or damage that is not foreseeable;
loss or damage caused by an Attendee’s breach of these Terms or failure to follow reasonable instructions;
the theft, loss or damage of personal belongings unless caused by our failure to use reasonable care; or
delay or failure caused by an event outside our reasonable control, although section 4 will apply if a Session cannot proceed.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, breach of your statutory rights, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
13. Complaints and other important terms
If you have a complaint, email info [at] naturenasium.com with your Booking reference and details of the issue. We will acknowledge and investigate the complaint and respond promptly.
These Terms do not affect your statutory rights. If a court finds part of these Terms unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a right does not waive that right.
Except where the law provides otherwise, only you and we may enforce this contract.
These Terms are governed by English law. You may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the country in which you live. We may bring proceedings against you in the courts of the country in which you live.
Consumer information note: These Terms should be read with the Session description, Booking Confirmation, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and any practical joining information provided for the Session.
